EPSDT Education for Providers and Advocates – Webinar
July 18, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm MDT
Despite its longevity as a foundational element of Medicaid, EPSDT’s full breadth and depth is often misunderstood. This webinar will identify EPSDT’s history and structure, discuss the role of the federal government and states in the provision of the benefit, and provide examples of services guaranteed to children in Medicaid. Our goal is to ensure that providers and advocates are armed with a comprehensive understanding of EPSDT in order to assess ways to ensure that children in Medicaid receive the full scope of EPSDT benefits they need to succeed in school and in life.
