Overview:

• Review the challenges, barriers, and rapid changes that occurred in school mental health services in Colorado and describe the implementations that occurred to sustain school based mental health services during COVID.
• Demonstrate specific techniques and outline recommendations to support youth’s social emotional health as they transition back to school this fall.
• Discuss ways that providers can collaborate with schools and families to ensure all youth have access to mental health services.
• Expectations for students and families regarding COVID infection, COVID vaccine, masking the medical with return to school.
• Discuss what educators are doing to assist students returning to school this fall after being remote/hybrid for their learning last school year.
• Funding Opportunities for Mental Health in Schools.
