Objectives:

• Review the airway and signs/symptoms of respiratory distress in pediatric patients
• Discuss the causes and standard treatment of common pediatric respiratory diseases
• Review escalation of care of pediatric respiratory emergencies including triggers for transferring patients and changing levels of support
