Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics’ 3rd Annual Kid’s Health Symposium
September 28, 2017 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am MDT
The 2017 Kids Health Symposium is a free community gathering to share insights from nationally-recognized experts about ways to improve child well-being. The breakfast event benefits Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics and also includes awards to individuals and/or organizations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to children, and stories about how Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics supports the well-being of kids through a range of services, including screenings, behavioral health counseling and care navigation.
The keynote speaker, Susan Payne, founding Executive Director of Safe2Tell, will discuss how the Safe2Tell program is engaging and empowering kids to speak up to make a difference in the lives of others. She will share stories and lessons learned from past tragedies and present ways to connect kids who are struggling to hope and help. A 25-year law enforcement veteran, Susan’s stories and experience inspire all those working in prevention.
