Objectives:

• Describe the prevalence and impairment associated with pediatric anxiety disorders.
• Discuss defining features of anxiety disorders and potential screening instruments.
• Describe the foundations of evidence-based treatment of these conditions, including exposure with response prevention and minimizing family accommodation of anxiety.
