The 12th Annual Speak Up for Kids advocacy day is focused on child health and early childhood development and includes all the essential elements to boost your advocacy skills and help you to speak up for kids during the 2023 legislative session and beyond! The event also provides an opportunity to connect with people who live in your district and learn about their ideas and experiences related to children’s care, education, and health issues.

This event will be an introduction to the practice of advocacy, and we especially encourage new and emerging advocates to attend, as they stand to gain the most from the experience. If you have attended in the past or have more extensive advocacy experience, please consider recruiting a friend to register.

All kids in Colorado benefit from a healthy start in life, setting the stage for lifelong learning, exploration, and growth. That’s why the Colorado Children’s Campaign and Clayton Early Learning continue to advocate for laws and policies that collectively help the youngest among us. Together, we can help raise awareness of the value of quality early childhood education and the importance of ensuring kids receive the healthcare they need to grow up healthy and thriving.
