The 11th Annual Speak up for Kids Advocacy Day

Join parents, service providers and other community members to understand the latest issues in early childhood and child health policy-making, acquire new advocacy skills and talk to lawmakers to ensure Colorado’s youngest children are at the forefront of their minds as they draft, debate and vote on policy.
We welcome everyone with an interest in child health and early childhood development to take part in Speak Up for Kids as participants or as advocacy coaches/advocacy coach assistant. Speak Up will be held from 8am-12pm, with training on advocacy and current legislation from 8:00 to 10:15 am, followed by small group advocacy actions directly with Colorado legislators.
We especially encourage first-time participants to take part in Speak Up for Kids.
