Colorado Updates in Public Health: COVID and Beyond is offered through a statewide partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). Each monthly session brings the most relevant information on rapidly evolving public health topics including viral respiratory illnesses, communicable disease outbreaks, vaccine updates, environment-related illnesses and more. Sessions include an interdisciplinary panel of public health, clinical and pharmacotherapy experts.

Session 1: Antimicrobial Stewardship in Outpatient Practice: Practical Strategies for Quality Improvement

In this session, Dr. Nicole Poole and Dr. Misha Huang will discuss practical strategies for outpatient antimicrobial stewardship. These antimicrobial stewardship experts will discuss otitis media, practical quality improvement framework and strategies, as well as clinic workflows and pathways.
